 Roma, 30 giu (Il Velino) - "Partiamo da una situazione piuttosto grave perché il disavanzo non è stato ancora quantificato e questo costituisce un grande limite all'azione di risanamento della sanità in Calabria". E' il paradosso da cui è partito il governatore della Calabria Giuseppe Scopelliti nell'audizione resa stamani presso la commissione d'inchiesta sugli Errori sanitari e sulle cause del disavanzo sanitario regionale, per illustrare il quadro generale della sua regioni. Indice puntato, anzitutto, con chi è stato incaricato di vagliare i conti sanitari della Regioni, e cioè il revisore Kpmg. "Dopo due anni e un milione di euro spesi - ha detto - per attivare la collaborazione con la Kpmg ancora non ci è stato presentato nulla. Il ritardo è dovuto anche alla difficoltà con cui si stanno reperendo i dati sull'Asp di Cosenza e Reggio Calabria. Se avessimo messo 50 commercialisti disoccupati a certificare il nostro disavanzo probabilmente ora sapremmo a quanto ammonta il deficit, che comunque ritengo sia diverso o inferiore rispetto a quello denunciato un anno fa". Ma, al di là delle cifre, il grave deficit della Calabria impone da subito delle misure energiche di risanamento, come ha spiegato Scopelliti: "Tra i punti su cui interverremo l'esubero del personale, pari a 3500 unità. I dipendenti della sanità calabrese sono 23.500 ed entro le prossime settimane si spera tagliarne circa 500 con un risparmio di 2 milioni di euro".
